Weatherford Regional Medical Center Earns Joint Commission Accreditation

WEATHERFORD, TEXAS – By demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission’s national standards of health care quality and safety, Weatherford Regional Medical Center (WRMC) has earned the Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™.  The accreditation process evaluates quality and safety within health care organizations and identifies opportunities for improvement for organizations to continuously provide safe, high-quality care, treatment and services.

"Continued accreditation through The Joint Commission demonstrates our commitment to safety and quality of care,” says Donnie Romine, Chief Executive Officer.  “We view obtaining Joint Commission accreditation as another step toward achieving excellence.” 

Regarding the unannounced, on-site evaluation, WRMC Director of Quality Management, Jean McCammack said, “Receiving the Joint Commission’s accreditation and certification demonstrates how dedicated WRMC physicians, clinical staff and associates are to providing the very best care for patients on every level of service and treatment in Parker County.”
