Visiting hours at Weatherford Regional Medical Center are from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Intensive Care Unit Visiting Hours:
The Intensive Care Unit allows open visiting for immediate family and clergy based on the patient's requests and condition. No more than two people may visit at one time. To protect patient confidentiality, visitors in ICU are asked to leave during shift change from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the ICU or CCU.
Visitors are allowed from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Children under the age of 12 are not permitted except siblings of newborns.
Smoke Free Campus:
Weatherford Regional Medical Center is proud to be a smoke free campus since January 1, 2008. Please be respectful of patients, visitors and employees by not smoking anywhere in the hospital or on hospital grounds.
In order to protect our patients’ health, we ask that family and visitors only use the public restrooms located throughout the hospital.
Interpreters & Hearing Impaired:
The hospital has a language line available to assist with interpretation for patients or families. The hospital is also able to provide telecom devices and sign language services for patients as needed.
Lone Star Café:
Guests are welcome to dine in Lone Star Café located on the first floor between the surgery waiting room and classroom 1. The cafeteria is open Monday through Friday for breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and for lunch from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Wireless Internet Service:
Weatherford Regional Medical Center offers free wireless internet service in all areas of the hospital, including the patient rooms. Simply choose the “Hospital Guest Wireless” connection and accept the terms and conditions. A password is not required, for assistance please call 817-599-2500.
The James and Dorothy Doss Chapel is open to all patients and visitors and is located on the second floor of the patient tower.
Mail, Flowers, Plants & Gifts:
Mail and packages will be delivered to patients by a hospital staff member or volunteer. Individual florists deliver flowers to patient rooms. Flowers are no allowed in the ICU and CCU. Plants are not allowed in all units. Weatherford Regional Medical Center is a Latex-free facility; please do not bring in latex balloons.
The gift shop is located on the first floor, by the admission waiting area. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted. They are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Vending machines are located near the Café, in the emergency department, surgery waiting rooms and on each patient floor.
Cell Phone Policy:
Use of cellular devices inside Weatherford Regional Medical Center is permitted in public areas only. Public areas include the Café, First Floor Lobby and certain waiting rooms. Use of cell phone in patient rooms is not permitted.
